One of GQA Qualifications’ approved training centres has helped to boost the skills of staff at Lancashire Double Glazing Group. Twelve employees at the large home improvement company have successfully completed NVQ level 2 courses in ‘Fabrication of Glass Supporting Structures’ with Absolute Training Solutions.
Staff were presented with their NVQ certificates by Lancashire Double Glazing Group’s Joint Managing Director, Vivienne Brunskill and Production Director, Mark Noble. The company’s two directors agree that practical training leading to GQA qualifications is playing a key role in helping to develop the careers of their staff.

Lancashire Double Glazing Group and LDG Contracts (the organisation’s commercial company installing aluminium contracts up to £3m), cover both the retail and commercial markets. The group is a leader in the design, fabrication and installation of aluminium and PVCu products, including curtain walling, window systems, entrance systems, shop fronts and patent glazing.
